I'm Jacqueline Magana, otherwise known as "Roachie" online. I'm a second-year filmmaker and multimedium artist pursuing a Film and Digital Media alongside a Business Management Economics degree at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

I believe the best work comes from hands on experience, and at the intersection of disciplines. Other extracurriculars I partake in that have vastly shaped me today include drawing, writing, playing guitar, and color guard. All of which have positivitely influenced several projects!

I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in which I can further develop my creativity and problem-solving skills. Upon taking my first multimedia course in high school my senior year, film quickly became my aspiration. Combining multiple art mediums and leading a team towards greatness are my favorite aspects of production.

In the future I plan on continuing my pursuit in a career involved in the entertainment industry. I want to prioritize spending quality time with my friends, family and pets who have provided me with the motivation and support to continue my creative journey.
