2025 Skills USA state competition entry completed in under 48 hours on site from a prompt. Participants were judged based on an interview, resume, professionalism, ability to follow prompt, and submit through proper formatting. While we did not place, a lot was learned from this project.

Created for a time travel literature course the summer of 2025 in a deadline of under 48 hours. I wrote the script, created a shot list and basic storyboard, as well as gather props and actors to shoot the entire production in a single day. It was edited overnight. The highlight of this film is the chemistry between the actor's and the many improvised shots.
This was an assignment for my found footage accelerated summer course in 2026. We were tasked with creating a short made with primarily personal archives including collections, photo albums, Cds, VHS tapes, etc. These could be anything we wanted. I chose to make the video feel more interactive, taking inspiration from alternate reality game content that can be found online. I realized a lot can be produced with recontextualizing recycled past media, breathing new life into the old.

Cry Productions alongside myself and Rogue Titan Studios collaborated with the interdisciplinary learning collective at Cesar Chavez Highschool to transform the script of a student enrolled in an English class into a short film. The project was only the first of many to be taken on outside of school hours at various locations in town, not simply the school. I learned public filming etiquette, and how to establish permission to record on various sites.

The Hammerheads was formed to compete in the 2025 H20 Hackathon on May 3rd. We set out to cover the Stockton Earth Day Festival in 2025 and captured several interviews with various stand owners and attendees. Currently, The Hammerheads are inactive. This was our first gig taken outside of regular course hours and we also had the opportunity to showcase the work of the multimedia CTE pathway at Cesar Chavez Highschool to Stockton.

As we continue, and as you have definitely noticed by now there has been an overwhelming trend leaning towards completing videos under extreme deadlines. This is yet another, as the production load of being in three clubs had began to take its toll on me. However, a cockroach never dies, nor does it give up, and so this masterpiece was birthed. Now featuring even more animation than in the past! It was completed over a single night, accompanied by a sugar free ice vanilla berry edition red bull of course.

Before taking my first ever multimedia course, this had been my baseline for video production, a short book review assignment. Fortunately, there were many more similar projects to come that would peak my interest in the topic, though truthfully. I took it since there were only two courses in the pathway, and there was just enough time in my senior year of high school to complete them and get a chord. It became much deeper than that by the end. It's interesting to see how far this has gotten considering that context.

Unfortunately, this film didn't perform well enough in the box office to produce a trilogy. I made this in under twelve hours overnight in my car outside of a gas station drinking a mean bean monster energy drink and so this video never made its debut in a classroom. Was it for the best? Who knows, however one things for certain, the experimentation with more animations, bits, and images shows, resulting in a higher quality than the original video.
